Columbia MD, April 12, 2021 --  BLEND360 Launches its Giving Foundation and announces winners of its first Giving Competition – naming Empowered Women International (EWI), a program of the Latino Economic Development Center, as the Grand Prize winner. BLEND360’s Giving foundation is an initiative that provides grants to foundations in and around BLEND360’s communities. “We are so excited to launch the Giving Foundation. This is our company’s platform for giving back to the communities we live in, causes we care about, and people in need of help,” Patrick Hennessy, CEO, Co-Founder.

To kick things off, BLEND360 ran a contest for employees to submit charities that are important to them. This competition produced 15 terrific submissions, making it very difficult for the team to come up with a winner. The Giving Team named EWI was grand prize winner receiving $5,000. With the help of this grant from the BLEND360 Giving Foundation, this spring, EWI will have three cohorts of our Entrepreneurial training for success programs that will help over 30 women to start a business and follow their dream. We want to thank you for that BLEND360,”Empowered Women International, Latino Economic Development Center.

Dress for Success Northern and NJ Food & Clothing Rescue came in a close second place, winning $1,000 each. The Giving Foundation also wanted to award a “Do Work” prize, where the BLEND360 team comes in and helps enhance their current database. Aids Fund Philly is the winner of this category.

BLEND360 was not only able to donate to these foundations but establish a truly impactful partnership where giving can come to life with time, energy, and effort through volunteering. “Partnerships, like the one we have developed with Blend360, are critical to the pursuit of our mission and ability to suit our clients with both competence and confidence. The generous grant from Blend360 will afford us with enhanced programming to support women impacted by the global pandemic. We are grateful and look forward to an ongoing engagement,” Kimberly Iozzi, PhD, Executive Director at Dress for Success.
