For Larissa, success has always been about creating moments that matter.
Whether she's designing exclusive cardholder experiences, negotiating talent partnerships, or meticulously planning every detail of a live event, Larissa is driven by one simple goal: helping people feel something memorable.
A native New Yorker, Larissa's career path wasn't exactly linear, and that's exactly what makes her story unique.
"I took a bit of a zigzag path to get where I am," she says.
After graduating from St. John's University, Larissa immersed herself in the world of live events. She managed tours for bands, produced shows for friends, worked in the nonprofit sector, and eventually joined Momentum Worldwide, a leading experiential marketing agency. There, she spent more than five years supporting a fortune 500 client, helping manage entertainment partnerships and creating premium experiences for card members.
Those early experiences taught her the power of thoughtful design and meaningful connection.
"When I think about when I'm happiest, it's when I'm experiencing live events," Larissa explains. "I realized I wanted to create those moments for other people."
Today, as a Blend consultant supporting Visa, Larissa brings that same passion to her work, helping clients develop experiences that strengthen customer loyalty and deliver lasting value.
One of Larissa's favorite parts of her role is transforming ideas into reality.
"I love seeing something start as a thought or a suggestion and then watching it come to life," she says. "There's a real sense of gratification in building something from the ground up and seeing people appreciate it."
That process often involves much more than event planning. In her work, Larissa helps clients navigate the world of experiential marketing, guiding them through everything from strategy and talent partnerships to customer engagement and event execution.
One project in particular stands out.
Larissa was tasked with helping a major financial services client launch a large-scale customer experience designed to reward and engage loyal cardholders. While the event itself was exciting, the real challenge was helping stakeholders understand what goes into creating an experience of that magnitude.
Many of the people involved had never worked on an experiential marketing initiative before. Larissa found herself serving as both consultant and educator, walking teams through timelines, budgets, talent negotiations, vendor coordination, and the countless details that happen behind the scenes long before guests ever walk through the door.
"Sometimes we work in this space for so long that we forget not everyone speaks the same language we do," she says. "It reminded me that what feels obvious to us isn't always obvious to everyone else."
Building trust became just as important as building the event itself. By taking the time to explain the process, answer questions, and align stakeholders around a shared vision, Larissa helped create confidence every step of the way.
The effort paid off. The experience generated overwhelming interest, registrations filled quickly, and the event successfully delivered the type of memorable, high-value experience the client hoped to create for its customers.
For Larissa, the project reinforced one of the things she loves most about her work: seeing an idea evolve from a conversation into a real-world experience that leaves a lasting impression.
"At the beginning, it's just a concept," she says. "Then suddenly you're standing in the space watching people experience it for the first time. That's always the most rewarding part."
Larissa's journey to Blend began during a period of career transition.
After a layoff, she found herself rethinking what might come next. Consulting had never been part of her original plan, but when a former colleague introduced her to Blend, she decided to stay open to the opportunity.
That decision ended up changing the direction of her career.
"It worked out better than I could have imagined," she says.
Through Blend, Larissa found a path that allowed her to build on her agency background while gaining experience within a global brand environment. It gave her the opportunity to bring her expertise in experiential marketing, partnerships, and customer engagement into a new setting while continuing to grow professionally.
For Larissa, one of the biggest surprises was how empowering consulting could be.

That independence has allowed her to take ownership of her work, raise her hand for new opportunities, and connect with teams across the organization. Rather than feeling limited to one lane, consulting has given her room to be versatile and intentional about where she can add value.
The flexibility has also been meaningful on a personal level. As a mother of two young children, Larissa appreciates being able to pursue challenging, fulfilling work while also having the space to be present for her family.
For someone who once wasn't sure consulting was the right path, Larissa has found it to be a bridge to new opportunities, new growth, and a career chapter that fits both her professional goals and her life outside of work.
When asked who inspires her most, Larissa doesn't hesitate.
"My big sister," she says.
Ten years older, her sister has spent her career embracing opportunities around the world, from teaching English in Japan to working in Saudi Arabia. Watching her take risks, advocate for herself, and pursue what mattered most left a lasting impression.
"She taught me not to be afraid of taking risks and speaking up for what I want," Larissa says. "She's also shown me the importance of advocating for other people."
That lesson continues to influence how Larissa approaches both work and relationships. Whether she's supporting a colleague, connecting people within her network, or helping clients navigate unfamiliar territory, she believes in lifting others up whenever possible.
When she's not creating unforgettable experiences for clients, Larissa stays busy with her two toddlers and takes full advantage of everything New York City has to offer.
Weekends are often spent exploring parks, museums, libraries, swimming lessons, and outdoor adventures, anything that keeps the family active and making memories together.
And while motherhood keeps her schedule full, she still makes time for one of her lifelong passions: live music.
"That's definitely my happy place," she says.
For Larissa, whether she's attending a concert, building a client experience, or spending time with family, it all comes back to creating meaningful connections. From the moments she creates for clients to the memories she makes with loved ones, Larissa has built both her career and her life around making moments that matter.
