Laura’s career in payments and marketing spans major financial institutions, diverse roles, and even a cross-country road trip. With deep industry expertise, a consultative mindset, and a passion for relationship-building, Laura brings both experience and energy to every engagement.

Laura began her professional journey in the financial services world at Merrill Lynch, where she managed the Visa credit, debit, and small business card portfolio. That early exposure sparked a long-standing interest in payments and set the foundation for her career.
“I’ve been in payments for most of my career,” Laura says. “It’s an industry that constantly evolves, and I’ve always enjoyed being part of that change.”
She later held roles at Bank of America and Morgan Stanley, where she focused on lifecycle and payments marketing. As a marketer, Laura found a natural fit at the intersection of customer strategy, loyalty, and payments.
A graduate of Seton Hall University, Laura is a proud New Jersey native. Her journey also includes time living in Manhattan and a decision to drive cross-country along Route 66 to relocate to California, an experience she had always wanted to check off her list.
“I figured a one-way trip made the most sense,” she shares. “Driving across the country was something I’d always wanted to do, and Route 66 was a goal of mine.”
After spending seven years in the Bay Area, Laura ultimately returned to New Jersey to be closer to family, a place she considers home.
She joined Blend as a consultant in April 2024, supporting Visa’s North America Marketing Services team. She was initially brought on to develop turnkey marketing materials for smaller community banks and credit unions.
“These programs needed to be efficient, both cost-effective and quick to execute,” Laura explains. “The goal was to make them easy to sell and easy to deliver.”
As the work gained momentum, Laura’s contract was extended and her role expanded. In addition to owning the turnkey offerings, she stepped into a business development role, helping sell Visa’s marketing services - from sponsorship activations tied to global events like FIFA and the Olympics to fully customized strategies and campaigns.
One of her proudest accomplishments has been building a streamlined process that supports high-volume delivery without sacrificing quality.
“We didn’t want to spend the same amount of time selling a smaller engagement as we would a much larger one,” she says. “So I focused on creating templates, improving workflows, and tightening the process from start to finish.”
For Laura, consulting provides flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to make an immediate impact.
“You come in as the expert, and you’re able to add value very quickly,” she says. “But at the same time, you can take on new projects and grow into different areas as needs evolve.”
She values the ability to move fluidly across initiatives rather than being locked into a single path.

Laura is energized by collaboration, problem-solving, and seeing ideas turn into action.
“I love having ideas implemented and seeing the results,” she says. “The team is very open to new thinking, and there’s both support and autonomy to bring those ideas to life.”
She especially enjoys working directly with clients, brainstorming solutions, adapting in real time, and solving problems collaboratively rather than offering one-size-fits-all answers. For Laura, no two days look the same, and that’s exactly what she enjoys most.
In an industry that evolves rapidly, Laura stays current through continuous research, Visa-provided education, and close collaboration with colleagues. Much of the industry insight she gathers directly informs the strategies and solutions she delivers to clients.
“Learning is part of the job,” she notes. “The research I do becomes real value for the clients we support.”
With dual U.S. and EU citizenship, Laura hopes to one day live or work abroad, whether for a new professional opportunity or a long-term personal experience. Travel has always been an important part of her life, and she looks forward to exploring what’s next, both professionally and personally.
For now, Laura continues to bring her experience, curiosity, and collaborative approach to Blend, creating meaningful impact through every engagement.
